during the /index.php?action=post function, the images for BBC tags, icons, etc are all visible...however, none of the images for Smiley's appear.

Type the code in for the smiley in the message body, and it appears just fine.

The base url and absolute path are both correctly set.

any thoughts??  (http://www.ultimate4wheeldriveperformance.com/forum/ [nofollow]

I need either a test account or a place where guests can post new topics (the "Test Board" is a good spot for this...)

Well, I'm not sure what to tell you. The smileys show up fine when I post, meaning it's not an issue with incorrect paths  or anything. At this point, I am guessing either the code for that got removed in BoardIndex.template.php or you somehow set all your smileys to "hidden".

I'll try reloading the boardindex.template.php file, see if that cures it.....

glad I did something original today ;)

oh...here's a wrinkle...this is a YaBB-SE converted forum, and I'll wager the forum reads off the /converted folder and not off the /default folder, and that has somehow messed things up...where do I change path information at, settings.php??

this theme's URL: /forum/Themes/classic
this theme's images URL: /forum/Themes/classic/images
this theme's directory: /forum/Themes/converted

hhhhmmm.....I'll wager it's the files in the converted directory that are the issue....

Please upload the Themes/classic/Post.template.php from the upgrade zip to your theme.  This looks to me like an "old template files" issue.

updated the Post.template.php file in the /converted directory and it's fixed...thanks for the assistance!
