Split topic error

I'm no good with debugging database errors.  I apoligize but I will have to gracefully bow out of this one.

What mods do you actually have installed.

Bumping topics less than 24 hours old is frowned upon.

You have now done so twice within 6 hours.  you also bump yourself to the bottom of the support queue by bumping your topic.

i've posted a link to this topic in the team boards in hopes that someone knows about the database error.

Can you please attach a copy of your SplitTopics.php?

Yes, I can. I'm sorry for bumping, but I asked for help long time ago and nothing.
In that time, I've lost too many posts.

Can you check the autoincrement value on id_topic in the topics table?  Check it, and make sure that it is higher than your highest topic ID. 

You'll need to use php -- What is phpMyAdmin? -- to find that out,.

My highest topic ID is 10090 and this is value.

Are you selecting valid posts to split? That would explain the previous error and possibly this error.

Hm, what do you mean "valid" posts?
I am checking posts I want to split and either I want to split a single post or want to split multiple post I am getting same error.

But, on my trash board and admin board I am splitting topics with no errors. It is strange.

Are you familiar with using phpMyAdmin? Go to cPanel->phpMyAdmin and choose your SMF database. Then click on smf_messages and look at the table at the bottom (Row Statistics) to see what value Next Autoindex is set to. Then go to Browse tab at the top and see what the last ID_MSG number is. That number should be one value less than Next Autoindex. If not, it may be causing the problem.

Do the same thing for smf_topics to make sure it's not off there.

On your first image, next to smf_messages, you will see the six icons to the right. Click on the second one for the structure. Then scroll down to view the details (may require you to click on the Details link to expand it if it's not already expanded to show the row statistics data). Give me the next autoindex number there....I forgot exactly why I asked for this instead of the topic ID count (asked earlier by the others).

How about if you move that topic to that special board you have and then try to do the split? Will it actually allow you to do it then?

It works in admin board. I've just splited one big theme in it.
But in other it doesn't split.

Are you still encountering this after the upgrade to RC1?

So it works in admin board, but not in others?  What mods do you have installed that affect posts and thread permissions?
