Can Admin Recover Member Password

Can I as an Admin recover a member password without resetting it or having the member have to do that?

No. Passwords are not able to be decrypted (at least not easily - using salted hash). Reset it for them or have them click on the link to send a reset link to their email address.

Thanks for your reply.  From all I read passwords cannot be recoverded in Simple Machines as you said.  It is very difficult when you try to run a contest or other marketing ideas within a forum and because of the need to hook an autoresponder to entries (memberships). But.... I will keep trying and do a work-around.  Thanks so much!
