When I sign in, this is the error I get.

The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.

I can still get on the forum by hitting the back button underneath the error.

I wasn't sure if this was reported.

As the error says, you are trying to view a board or topic you can not view. This is not a bug.

Not trying to sound rude but, if you say so.
I sign in at the top of the page before I do anything else, there is no valid reason for me to get this error.
Especially when I'm on the front page of the forum and haven't tried to access any boards yet and I'm the admin.

Peace.

well, if its popping up when your prior action wasnt trying to see a board, then there's a problem somewhere.

I have tried however and haven't been able to replicate this ona clean install.  are you able to on a clean install?

It is a clean install.
Since I have no members I deleted my prior forum because I had no clue how to convert the data base to t.o beta 4.
So I built the forum up froem scratch with a new data base and everything else.

By the way, this error does'nt happen everytime I sign in, just once in awhile.

thats strange.  I'd be happy to help debug it but really have to be able to replicate it first :S

install.php being present would not cause this error

Couldn't agree more! I've faced the similar problem in the past and solved it with clearing cache and cookies in my browser....
