Error on new user registration

Just upgraded to SMF2 beta and new users are confused and some end up trying to re-register their profiles.

On step two of the registration process there is An Error Has Occurred! message displayed for new users.

Error point: hxxp:www.mywebsite.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=a46982acda25e76407e5bcd066d2132a&action=register2 [nonactive]

This error prevents notifications for newly registered users and yet the details are captured for approval.

Help would be appreciated.

What specific error are they getting?

What do you mean by "new users are confused"?

They get "An Error Has Occurred! " after clicking on "Register"

No confirmation text or "Thank you" page. after an error, there a back button and they cant re-enter the details because the system already captured user details.
