Ok Done, just wondering what about the  managesettings.php file that ends with this symbol ~ because i saw alot of files that end with that? Do you need that 2?

I couldn copy paste it exceded maximum lenth limit so you must download the attacment

BTW when it redirected me after instilation this is wat happened

I love this thing (If this was your idea it was awesoem I hate looking for the location of a mods settings the first time)

files with ~ at the end are back ups ever time you install a mods and it edits a files it makes a backup

One othe off topic question
Why does SMF require so little resourses, i used to use worpress and it killed resourses like crazy.... Espacially the Mods for it, they really really killed it and got me suspended on my host (I lost my increasingly succesful site because of it  )

Ok, Then i guess that the best i can do.

I have one more problem i just want to know if it might have anything to do with the php code you gave me conflicting with some settings that i had set previously. I use simpleportal and i use the top posters block.  I have set certain boards to not increase psot count but it seemes to count those ones anyways... Do u think its the code u just gave me or is it a flaw in simpleportal?

Do you think i should contact the simpleportal creators about this?

Ok Thanks for your help. And BTW you seem like a skilled Mod Maker for SMF so i wanted to make some suggestions

Y dont you take affilates to another level, Make it better. Like an approval system for affiliates integrated with smf instead of just e-mail. So when people submit thier site you can check and press accept/decline. ETC

But still this is still an awesome mod

Anybody have any idea how to add it to a block in MKPortal?
I tried the code for Simple Portal, but it doesn't work.

hmm im not sure bout that i dont use mk portal what happens when you add it to mk portal ??

The block is just empty.
Here is what it says to do when creating a php block.

did you have affiliates in board index block there two boxes affiliates page and affiliates on boardindex

Every part of the mod works fine, no errors. I just would like to add it to MKPortal.
The Affiliates block displays just nice on the forum index, and when you click on affiliates.
To answer your question, yes i have the same code added to both boxes.

hmm im not yo shore then with out setting up mk portal wich i cant at the moment dont have ftp acess soon as ftp comes back on ill set up another test site for mk portal
