Is there a way to make the logo on home page an active link?

I was curious if there's a way to make our logo (at the top left of our board pages) an active link that can take people back to our main site.

I couldn't find anything in the administrator instructions that told us how to do it, and I think making the logo an active link will help participants in our forum move back and forth between the bulletin board and our main informational site. I'd like to have our main informational site open in a new window, so our participants also stay linked to our forum site.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Just go into your index file and add link tags to your image code.

This is my first time being the admin on one of these boards, so how do I find the index file?

/Themes/default/index.template.php

Although, this question has been asked numerous times.  If you click search at the top i'm sure you can find some very detailed answers :)
