Maintainance Mode Help [SOLVED]

I turned on Maintainance Mode and now I cannot figure out how to get in and turn it off!!!!!!

A little help here would be appreciated.

the same way you turned it on, remove the check in the box.

How do I get back in to the admin page...... I accidently left the admin page!!!!

I don't think you get what I am saying   

I accidently closed Internet Explorer.....

When I go back to my URL to my forum, I cannot log in. It only takes me to the Maintainance page that everyone else sees.

Is there a specific URL I can go to to log in, outside the maintainance page?

are you using yabbse or smf?

SMF 1.0 (haven't upgraded yet to 1.0.1 yet)

Did you upgrade from yabbse?.. i've never seen a matinance mode like this expect on yabbse.. and i forgot how to fix this.. try sending unknown a message.

Nope.... Straight SMF 1.0 install.

I did a SQL backup and saved my settings.php......

Am I better off just reinstalling SMF? Do I need any other files backed up?

I suggest before doing anything backup all the files. It's always safe to backup ahead of doing anything to forum incase it goes wrong.

Figured it out....

Had to manually edit the settings.php file and change the Maintainance Mode = 1 to 0
