how can i move my forum?

i want to move it from for example, mywebsite.com/forum to just mywebsite.com

how can i do that? thanks for your help!

You would just have to move all your forum files from mywebsite.com/forum to mywebsite.com
Then run repair_settings.php(Download in Download --> Tools Section)

Also when you do it, to get your theme back, go to themes and layout --> themes and settings --> At the base, hit the "Attempt to reset all themes". It will do the job and you can use any theme you want.

it works, but only if I leave a copy of all the files in the /forum folder, otherwise if i remove the folder, all the  css files dont seem to be getting read

i went a head and changed all the urls to the new address but for some reason some urls including /forum/ still show up on the page source
