ssi tweaks

Hi folks,

Here is my problem: I need to display on some of my site pages, using ssi functions, threads from certain boards. That's easy! However, what I need to do is to display the first post in any thread on the boards in question and then stop it changing when someone replies to said thread.

Is that easy?

ssi_boardnews() will probably do what you want but I'm not sure what you mean when you say you don't want it to change when someone replies?
