What does the paid subscription do?

i created a test account with the subscription but i dont notice anything?

can someone help me with this?

The paid subscription allows you to create some paid services on your site. For instance, on www.tinyportal.net Bloc has a few different theme clubs of which you can purchase. The paid subscriptions allows you to make it so that when someone pays for the service you offer, that it can give this person special privileges for paying. Such as, add that person to a special member group automatically.

This site is a good example. We use it for our Charter Member program. When the payment goes through, SMF automatically adds the user to the Charter Member group, which in turn gives them the additional perks that come with Charter Membership.
