ImageVue screwed up my forums

Hi -
I have two forums running on my website.  I recently tried to add "ImageVue" which is PHP image gallery/slideshow software.
After I tried to install the files (in a new separate directory), now both my forums no longer work.
I get a 500 Internal Server Error message.

This was the message in the error log:
"Premature end of script headers: /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/forum/index.php"

I asked for help from ImageVue, but they insisted that nothing I install from them should affect the forums.
I'm guessing some PHP type file was overwritten for my forums.

Can anyone tell me what files I might look for?  And is there a way of reinstalling the SMF files WITHOUT losing all my previous messages and posts?

EDIT: I also just tried installing a new forum (in a new directory), it says it installed correctly, but I'm still getting that same error message.

Thanks,
Lee

Ooops, never mind I figured it out.
Apparently I changed some CHMOD permissions to 777 when I should have left them at 755.

Whew!  :D
