Download plugins with url

I am having issues with that feature, Actually its been existing for a wile i just didnt feel like complaining untill i installed worpress wich i had not used 4 a long time and used a plugin that gave me the same feature as smf, downloading plugins with urls... that wont work eaither know i am really anoyed, can someone help me out, its clearly my server settings that are causing the problem but that is out of my control i assume...

I do have acces to all of my files and i use Cpanel for it. Does anybody know what it is exatly thats wrong. I posted this here cuz i am used to the smf site and also cuz i think i can failry pass this off as support for smf 2.0 since i am intending to figure out the downloading issue 4 it also.

I do not think its permissions its something else, like a disabled funtion or something else, IDK please help me out

Do you have any specific error information such as displayed errors or error log entries?  Have you also checked the php error log -- might have to contact the host on it?

I'm afraid "don't work" isn't much help in debugging the issue

Ok ill try it again with SMF and see wat happens, please wait

I tried again but 4got to post, it wasnt working but after some server updates that my host made it seems to be working now
