cannot upload file when login as global moderator

When I login as a Global Moderator, the file upload field will not show up and I cannot upload files. But if I login as a normal user or an Administrator, everything Will be fine. Can someone tell me what is going on? Is it a possible bug?

I am using SMF 1.0.1

No, I have turned on permissions for Global Mods to view and upload attachments. The attachment field does not show up at all.

Fixed. You had all your boards set to local permissions, and didn't give global mods the ability to view or post attachments on any of those boards.

Well, it's a bit complicated for some people.  You see, every board can have its own set of permissions (local permissions), but sometimes this makes it hard to manage.  So, instead, you might use "global" permissions instead.  These are permissions that all the boards share.

So, if a board is set to use its own (local) permissions, it won't use the global ones.  Changing the global ones won't even affect it at all.
