Two Forums authenticate together

I would like to set up a second forum under a different domain however I would like to use all of the members, groups and permissions from my forum number 1.  Forum 2 will operate along side of the original but users will not be registering on this forum, as it will all come from forum 1.  Is there anyway to accomplish this?  Basically the second forum would pull the user, members, and permissions from the first forum.

As long as the second forum has access to the database that the first forum is using, then yes, it can be done. Basically you'll need to go through all the Sources files and hard-code the names of the permissions and members tables.
