Newsletters timing out

SMF version - SMF 2.0 Beta 4

The site has been updated from 1.1.7, which had been updated from 1.1.6

The server OS is Linux

The site is running on a virtual private server.


When trying to send out a newsletter, the script just sits there.  The page shows to be "loading" but nothing ever happens.  The emails are never sent, the script just sits there "loading"  The newsletter is being sent to all usergroups and all members.  Members are receiving their activation emails, so I know the email feature works.

Is this issue resolved?

If not, when did you notice this happening? Any changes made recently before this problem started?

In the Newsletter page where you type the message, did you select any of the checkboxes? Just want to see if they may be causing problems...

Try sending a test announcement for a topic (create a new one) and send it to yourself (Administrators) to see if that works.
