Mod trouble after 1.0.2 upgrade

Well before I upgraded to 1.0.2, I loaded and installed arcade and download mods.  I then upgraded (from the upgrade zip) and the buttons on the top were there.  When you clicked on them it just took you to the main index.  So I goto the package manager and the mods arent installed anymore.  So I click on install and it installs another set of buttons on the top for arcade and download.  I then uninstalled them both, but the buttons stayed!!!  I am lost now as to what to do. 

Any help out there?
