Issue with banning users

Hi all,

I seem to have an issue with banning users, or e-mail domains.

As you can see in the attached screenshots I've created a rule containing a lot of different fun e-mail domains from GMX.net, a German free mailer. This should prevent users using such e-mail addresses from signing up. I know that this worked in the past, but as you can see from the screenshots a user was able to bypass this restriction.

Funny thing is that the user shows as "banned". Nevertheless, he was able to log in and post.

Any ideas? This is kinda confusing...

Update:

I just tested it with two different domains from the ban list and in both cases I was able to register successfully...

It seems this list does no longer have any effect at all?!

I can't say why is not working but i would suggest you to use my mod

with that you can restrict several email providers

this is a bug in SMF 2.0.B4 (and later).I was able to reproduce this with the latest SVN version.
