Installing Mods Huge Problem need help pleaseeeeee

Im having a huge problem when it comes to installing mods through package manager. Every time i try to install a mod it keeps timing out. I decided to install a test forum to see if it works and when i tested it on the new forum everything worked great. Now my existing forum which has at least 5000 members always timing out. Is there a way that i can modify/delete the tables in MySQL to only keep the members and the boards/posts and the rest of the things deleted. That way i can try re-installing the forum again without loosing all my members and posts?

Is this issue resolved now?

If not, are there any errors when this times out? How about in your forum error log? Were there any modifications made to this live forum? If it's basically a clean install of SMF, it should work since the test forum worked for you on the same server.
