Hi I've a SMF forum installed on the following link but since last night its blanked out.
http://techfreak.in/smf

Some days back the Settings.php became 0KB and now the forum is blanked out.

Could anybody please let me know how can I fix this or which file I should look at for the settings?

Thanks in advance

Copy the contents of Settings_bak.php to Settings.php.

Thanks but that was which I fixed when last week I had a problem with settings.php getting to 0KB.

How about the index.php file? Is it as it should or is it emptied out?

So it seems. Did you make any modification at all to your forum prior to the blank out?
Have you contacted your host btw about the problem?

bchangia

No modifications were made.

Host doen't matter because I've my other sites working absolutely fine. On same server.

Add this to the very top of index.php after <?php

@ini_set('display_errors', 'on');

Then visit your site again and see if any errors are displayed on the screen.

That is very strange indeed. Btw, can you change the solved icon as as it is now, it gives the impression that this topic is solved. i.e. doesn''t need any more help and you might miss the chance that someone with the solution visits it.

SlammedDime

I changed it to solved.  If the answer is found, it can easily be posted, but at this point, the problem no longer exists.
