Hi, I can't find out why my sites aren't linking up when I put http:// on the page, the link is unlinked.

Also the smileys aren't displaying properly.

I selected Show Basic HTML on the Admin section, but still its not displaying the correct HTML.

Can you post the exact html you're trying to use?  For example:

<a href="http://www.google.com/">Google!</a>

Thanks yep I tried that and it displays exactly how it looks on the page:
..<a href="http://www.google.com/">Google!</a>..

Are you using 1.0.2?  Are you certain "Show Basic HTML?" is enabled?

Link, please?

Yep Show Basic HTML is enabled...even the smiley in the topics are showing up as characters rather than graphics.

Prefer not to show my URL yet as the work is in progress....

Sigh.  Do you have "break up words longer than..." set to something less than 50?  If so, it should not be anything below 50.

Nope can't find that option....I guess it doesn't matter.  I haven't changed the site in anyway and only recently downloaded the new version a few days ago...strange stuff...
