an html error when asking forgettin password for a user without a mail address

hello,
i have tried to retrive a password for a user without an email and here's the error that i get

what can be???
see the error? the html is parsed as plain text
BTW it's IE 6 SP2

That's just how 1.0 at least shows that message.  I agree it's a bit different from most errors.
