Hi,

I'm using SMF 2.0 PB 3.1 installed via the webinstaller. Apache server et al surpass minimum requirements, php5. Default theme, no other themes or mods.

Forums are at hxxp:eurailstories.com/forums [nonactive]

The registration page gives the following error:
QuoteWrong value type sent to the database. Array of integers expected.

The error logs show two errors on each attempt:
QuoteWrong value type sent to the database. Array of integers expected.
Function: create_control_verification
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file
File: /.../domains/eurailstories.com/html/forums/Sources/Subs-Editor.php
Line: 1484

and

Quote
File: /.../domains/eurailstories.com/html/forums/Sources/Subs-Editor.php
Line: 1459

I have tried running the repair_settings.php script to no effect. Finally, if I'm logged in as admin it allows me to see the registration page but not when visiting as a guest.

Any help with debugging appreciated.

Nathaniel

Odd errors. Okay, a few questions:

Do you have any mods installed?
Which database type are you using?
Can you post your Subs-Editor.php file?

Hi, thanks. Let me know if you have any thoughts or if I should chuck it all in and try a DB backup then reinstall.

1. No mods; a fresh virgin install. I installed one theme then removed it before activating it.

2. MySQL 4.1.11

3. It's attached.

Its an odd error. It may be an error with SMF itself, although I can't seem to be able to reproduce it.

It might be best if you override that particular file with a clean version from the SMF 2 Beta 3.1 install package. There may be an issue with the web installer, but I'm not sure.

I tried that to no avail.

In the end I dropped all the tables, overwrote all the files and started again. No harm done, just hours wasted.

Thanks for your ideas. You're a legend.

I'm receiving the identical issue. Unfortunatly I can not just drop all my tables and overwrite all the files, I have a fairly large forum. Can I create a working forum and then somehow move the date over there, or is there a way to troubleshoot this issue?

I couldn't find a way. Hopefully someone has some fresh ideas. Good luck.
