Hey
I wanted to install some mods, but it wouldnt let me because some of the files were not writeable. So i went to file permissions tabbed and tried to make them all writeable, this didnt work, non of the changes i made saved. So i did a bit of research and found that i could change the permissions in my FTP.

I followed those instructions and my forum now has this error:
PHP Error Message

PHP Error Message

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required '/www/www.68airborne.site90.net/index.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in Unknown on line 0

I am using SMF version 2 BETA 4

oh and I unchecked the wirte box in my FTP client for permissions then changed them and the above was the result
How can i fix this and then get the mods to install?
Thanks
Duncan

EDIT
LOL I managed to fix this myself. I changed all the permissions to 755 then changed the ones listed here hxxp:www.110mb.com/forum/help-with-making-files-writable-t19213.0.html [nonactive]
to 777
If there is something else i should change please tell me
