Removing user info and key stats from header

Hello!

As the topic says, I'm wondering how to remove those tables from the header. I've been browsing through the code but it doesn't look too easy to do. Perhaps collapsing them by default would do, but removing totally would be better (or just collapsing and then removing the button that puts them back ).  I would also like to remove them for guests, and just place the login fields somewhere in the lower right header area. What would be the best way to do this?
