:)

So is this just a direct port or will we be seeing some different features?

JBlaze

It will be a direct port for now, and later on, since I am working with the original creator of the mod, you will see some new improvements.

Awesome :)

And I'm working with JBlaze to get it done by hounding him. lol.  Well look forward to seeing it done.  Once you have it done JBlaze we can use the test site I set up that is SMF 1.1.8 in the description of the mod so everyone can see the mod in action.

What needs to be done is the profile part needs to be done first. Once done, that info. needs to be sent to a page for all the IDs and layed out as in the pic in the 1st post.

What about using this mod: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1252
The mod maker would have to be asked if he will update it.

Now add the page to output it too. (We will call it xboxlivepage.php for now) Make a nice lay out of it. Add the link in the menu.

Boy, it sounds so easy typing it.  :D

EDIT: In SMF 2.0 RC1 you can turn on Advanced Profile Fields. Don't show them on forum post view. Now use that ID to pull the data somehow and make the page and lay out for it. Add link to menu.

Funny that, i was actually planning to make my own xbox leaderboard script similar to the vb one because ive already created the basis of the script for a site of mine. But i wouldn't of started work on it for SMF, till 2.0 becomes final same goes with my current mods.

So if you can pull it off JBlaze then this will be another mod off my list ;D  You probably might not think it but it may of been much easier making it from scratch though as its a fairly simple mod once you break it down but from the sound of things your not far off finishing it anyway ;)

Well, I actually considered making it from scratch, but since I lack the elite PHP coding skills to code from scratch, I scratched that idea :)

Should be ready for testing in at least a week. As of today, Robbo_ is helping me out with the coding to make it more unique to SMF.

Keep your eyes peeled.

ETA: This will only be available to beta test on 1.1.x, not 2.0.
Sorry to disappoint...

Ok all, I have a semi-demo ready for yall to preview.

http://www.thedonmurpway.net/gxbl/index.php?action=gxboxlive

It's still in infancy and there is nowhere to input your gamertag in profile yet. This is just a demo to get a rough feel of what it will look like.

Again, big thanks to Robbo_ for helping me out on this one :)

Hey now why you gotta tease my computer like this.  Only 1.1.x  Oh' well that's why I'm setting up a 1.1.8 test site.  Well I did check out the demo, and it looks good so far.  Still needs a few more things to it so it looks and has the good options like the original VB version does.  It is looking really good so far JBlaze.  Keep up the good work.

For the record this will look better then the vBull version.

Definately :)

Yeah I will agree that it does look really nice.  It will be even nicer when it is finished and it has everything in place.  It takes time, but a mod of this latitude takes some time to get completed.  I'm really excited for the final release of this mod after it is finished.  JBlaze your doing a great job so far.
