Smf + PHP Apc install fail

Hello everyone,
recently we noticed that installing smf boards fail to install when manual install if the PHP APC is enabled on our webserver. When we disble APC everything works fine. (install fails when script try to populate DB) Any ideas why this is happening. thanks in advance.

Also, no errors are shown in any log files. When installing SMF trough Installatron everything also works as it should.
