Time when posting linked events between calendar and forums

I haven't seen a mod like this yet, but I may be blind.

Is there any way, to have a mod or feature implemented that allows you to enter the time span of an event similar to that of the "amount of days" feature.

As most of us know, you can currently set "Number of Days".  Maybe right below that option, there can also be a "Start Time" and below that, a "Finish Time" option.

Did I make sense, or should I attempt to clarify more?
