Havent had new members this whole month cause I just found out! HELP!

We altered our theme on our site at http://www.zunited.net/ [nofollow] and the captcha images didn't display at all.

I have since removed them and replaced them with questions but I need them back.

I know nothing about where the images are created or housed or what to do about this.

Thank you SO much for your help.

Does it work in the smf default core theme?

If it does then its probably an issue with the theme which you are using (and maybe not fully 2.0 compatible ???)
If so you would probably need to speak to the themes author in the themes support topic.

Our theme is a HEAVILY modded version of the Core SMF theme. I custom coded it myself for our site. But it was working before with this theme which is why im baffled.

I installed reCAPTCHA on the system and it's working for now. Im sure when i upgrade to 2.0 Release Version it will work again.

1) Again, are the visual verification images displayed when using the stock (unmodded) Core theme files?

2) Download Register.template.php and Admin.template.php from your theme's and open them in a text editor. Remove everything before the <?php tag at the start of those files, save them in the ISO/ANSI file format (the DOS or UNIX line ending format shouldn't matter) and reupload.

The error is obvious by looking at your HTML source code of your forum.  See all that extra style stuff at the top before <DOCtype... that is the issue.

It looks like the styles are in index.template.php. JaredMarino, it's best to move those styles into style.css of the forum theme, or include them as a separate stylesheet.
