Des SMF allow pictures ?

I am in the process of setting up a photo-related forum and choosing the forum software that is best adapted for my specific needs.

One of the main requirement is the possibility to post pictures in messages.

1) The pictures should appear within the text (or at the end of the message text) and not as attachments or in a picture gallery
2) They should be stored on the server and not via external links
3) Certain limitations are to be met (e.g. max width of picture 510 pixel, file not bigger than 100k), otherwise they will be treated as attachments and not shown in the text.
3) The uploading mechanism has to be easy (form driven) for people who are not necessarily very computer literate
4) Administration has to be easy

With a few modifications, this can be accomplished. You would need to modify Display.template.php to get SMF to determine when to display the image and when to display it as an attachment, but other than that it shouldn't require too much work.
