Problem installation

i have installed SMF adn Mambo in different database.
i installed SMF with different database and table prefix... am i right?
when ive installed the bridge, i enter the bidge configuration..
and then the error show.....

waht shoul i do?

Have you read the readme.html that comes with the bridge?

You need to assign perission for your SMF database user to access your Mambo database, and permission for your Mambo database user to access your SMF database.

are the database and table prefix same? or only database and the table prefix is different?

if you want them in the same database, then yes, you will have to use different prefixes...

and then when i access my forum at www.xample.com/forum
the error show CGI Execution Error....
but when i access with mambo, my forum can show....

adn then my uploadable directory is attachement directory

What is your URL?  For issues with the behaviour of the software, it is easiest to actually see how the site is behaving rather than rely on an uneducated description.

SMF hasnt .htaccess... But Mambo folder has a htacces.txt

/home/sloki/user/xxxxx/sites/xxxxxx.org/www/ has no .htaccess, but has htaccess.txt & htaccess.txt.45x

now, my new member cant see image verification

Your image verification doesn't work because the forum can't be accessed.

last night i tried and i could see the image verification,,,,
but today i cant...
is it possible because i change the setting like above?

i set my file n folder permission to 775... and then it can be accssed...
