Custom tab for 2.0

Hello

I need help to add a custom tab on my SMF 2.0 forum. Until today I have been running the version 1.1.8
But when i changed to version 2.0 the top bar changed back and now you can't use the same method.

So:
How do I add a button in the top bar at a forum version 2.0

PS: Luage, apparently it helps the very busy moderators of this forum if after something is resolved you add a "tick" symbol to the forum. However, only do this once you have successfully resolved your issue.... not just received some information, but actually have implemented it. But as that seems to be the master thread on this topic, I'd ask any further questions about the code there.
