how to only display one rank in SMF?

Hello everyone I dont know if this is the right section but how do you only display one rank? So say the person is in a membergroup and  has a rank but also has a rank for the post count. How do you make it to where if the person is in a membergroup that is the only rank it shows. But if you are not in a membergroup the post count rank takes over? Hope this was clear enough, and thanks for the help in advance.

EDIT: BTW im using SMF 2.0 beta 4
