Scheduled Tasks Error

Upgrade to RC1 with no Mods installed.

Hello, anytime I go to Scheduled Tasks I get this error

http://monsters-mansion.co.cc/index.php?action=admin;area=scheduledtasks

Could not retrieve the file http://www.simplemachines.org/smf/current-version.js?version=SMF+2.0+RC1.

Any ideas?

Were you able to get files with 1.1.x? Does your host have fsockopen enabled?

I have no idea if I was able to get those files. Did (or does) 1.x.x have scheduled tasks?

1.1.x didn't have scheduled tasks, just on every page load on the Admin CP it got the files I believe.

Would you be able to upload a PHP file with this in it:

That way we can see if you have fsockopen enabled or not.

Ahhh under "disable_functions" fsockopen is listed in there. This is my test site and it's free maybe that's why?

Does this mean my scheduled tasks won't work? And if so is there a work around?

Well, check to see if your server has cURL installed, if it does, you can use the cURL fetch_web_data(); modification which should fix that up, of course if cURL is enabled.
