I am getting this Error when a user tries to do a search off the search option on the forum:

LainaaPlease try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

I get the same thing when I use my normal user account, and try it several times getting the above error message.

But when I log in with my Admin account and try here is what I get as Admin . . .

LainaaYou have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 0)' at line 3
File: *:\******\*******\*******\Sources\Search.php
Line: 643

I am a little hesitant to try and make any changes in the Search.php file and thought that it would be best to come here and get some INPUT from some of the Guru's here before I made any big mistakes and see what you have to say.

Do I dare make any changes here and if so what exactly should I be changing?

I am on SMF 1.0.1 here and the Search.php file on my server has a size of 40k if this helps any . . .   ;)
ALSO I am running a YaBBSE converted forum as well . . .   ;)

Any Input will all be taken to hart . . . .   8)

You don't have temporary tables and you're still using 1.0.1.  If your host allowed temporary tables, or you upgraded to 1.0.2, you wouldn't have this problem.

You Da' Man [Unknown], as usual, I got the 1-0-2 upgrade and popped it in and BINGO!

The Search works fine now, and 1.0.2 is displaying at the bottom just as pretty as can be!    ;)

THANKS! once again my friend for saving the day! . . .   8)
