Great Problem

I am having a great problem.
I am running a site at http://www.belmos.com [nofollow] with smf forum. whenever i type my url i am getting PHPSESSID with my url,

It is really sucking me, because google too indexed lots of pages from my website with PHPSESSID

Please help me with this. I am using SMF 2.0 RC1
I too got PHPSESSID when i am using SMF 2.0 beta  4.

I tried all like editing php.ini files and .htaccess files, but none worked. please help me with this. because it is really sucking.

I think the problem is when you typed belmos.com to your browser without www and then your server redirects you to www.belmos.com and adds PHPSESSID automatically to the URL by your server you can try to check how your redirection works or you can disable your redirection to solve your problem.


By the way the members can give you faster answers if you can give your posts with more meaningfull subjects not just 'Great Problem'.

ya, correct, how to disable redirection. i am not good with programming.

It depends on your webhost if you have cPanel then goto Domain redirects (something like that forgot the exact name) and remove the redirections it might also be set in your domain.

You might want to try and ask your webhost to remove it for you.
