is there any way to make a forum not be able to count posts I have a "fun" forum and from past boards i learned that having the count post option on just encourages  spam posting


I upgraded from 2,0 beta to 2.0 rc1

Yes:

Admin >> Forum >> Boards >> (On w/e board) Modify >> Uncheck Count Posts checkbox.
