A newsletter MOD would be useful like the announcements system except you would be able to select individual members and actually send an email instead of a notification.

It would be useful because I wouldn't have to keep two lists of my members.

You can select members by membergroups. Just ask them if they want to receive a news letter, and just add the membergroup newsgroup.. and there ya go.

But you still can't send an email, members only get a notification of an announcement.
