Hey. I want the gallery i have for my SMF forum to appear to be a separate page (to which i'll link to from a page separate than the forum for that matter) and thought i could achieve that by removing the whole header of the forum. Anyone know how i can do that?

robinrobin

Removing the header for a custom page, bumpeli-bump.

Nobody knows how to remove the header of the forum? Custom pages isn't possible with SMF?

Is this issue resolved now? If not, you might want to try asking this in the gallery mod's own support topic. You can find that link by going to the download page and clicking on the comment button there.

Regarding custom pages, take a look at the Custom Pages mod (search for it in the mods section) to see if it will do what you need. You will need to get that gallery on its own page first though.

If you don't want the gallery to be integrated, you might want to look into using a third party gallery software instead. SMF Gallery will be integrated by default just like the rest of the mods here.

Thank you Greyknight. I tried that mod and it was not quite it. What i would like is to create a separate registration-page that simply doesn't have the header- and foot-part of the forum in it, so that the registration fields with agreement and all that is all that you actually see.

If it's outside of SMF and you don't want the theme, you need to use the SSI.php function and API (Download section, not sure if compatible with 2.0 yet though).  Getting the registration template without the wrapper of the index might be trickier.
