Need Help - Urgent

I have just upgraded to RC1 from beta4 and during the upgrade it asked about the mods that i had installed.

Some of them it kept installed but i am unable to remove them and i think they are causing issues.

For example i have avatars under membergroup mod and i am not sure if this is causing it but it seems to be displaying 3 avatars one under the other.

Also the advanced rep rather than displaying the heart for rep, its displaying [approve] [disapprove] like that.

I had remove smf logo installed prior to the upgrade and the logo has come back now.

I cannot uninstall as it says there is uninstaller.

I backed up when prompted on upgrade does this help?

If you backed up your database before the upgrade, then you can simply restore that backup and reupload the beta 4 files and you are all set

Its my dad that is the one that does all server stuff. But can i ask how we restore the backup and beta 4 bits? Many Thanks

We are not running phpmyadmin, how can we find the backup which it created and restore it?

Is there a way to uninstall the mods which are causing issue's without having the uninstaller for that mod? As this seems to be the only problem i have with upgrading from beta 4 to RC1.

You can use the Large Upgrade package to override all the current RC1 files with fresh ones.  This should revert your forum to a base install of RC1 with your data.

Then you should be able to install all the mods again.

As for export and restore, if you father runs a server you should speak to him as he should be well knowledged in these procedures.
