What part are you stuck on?

Your host should give you the MySQL information; it's not some puzzle we left for you to work out :P.

Please do not send random people (me) PM's with exactly the same question you posted here. Posting here has the benefit that there are multiple people that can help you; in a PM only the person you send it to can see it.

Anyway, you might want to read this too http://www.simplemachines.org/community/readme_install.html

he sent me a pm also, and told him by PM how to do it lol... Before I saw this post anyways.

You know something. This forum is really slow. I got reply after 6-7 hrs. Nobody is interested except few people who helped me solving my problem. I think moderator here sleep whole day. You can delete my topics.

You posted at 1 am....

You got a reply an hour after you posted, which is nothing to laugh at for that hour.

Not everyone lives in the time zone you are in, nor does the universe revolve around you.  If you're going to take that haughty position, when you're the one who annoyed many of the people online - including me - with pms (which is an EXTERMELY rude thing to do) I WANT YOU to leave and not use this software.  It would insult me otherwise.

So you try to make the people stop using your software? That's why you made it? You are interesting person. Someone told me the mod here are not of good character.  :(

Most people who are problem-people would say that.  Here's the short and simple of it:

I have no tolernace, whatsoever, for people who would be rude, and then complain when people don't get in line to help them.  What in the world do you think this is, a butler service?  Did you tip the valet?

Get a grip.  I really don't care for people who are as rude as you, and I really have no reason to want you to use the software I'm offering you for free.

I mean, if you set up a stand giving out cold lemonade for free, and then some jerk complained because you didn't let him cut in line... would you feel like giving the guy ANY lemonade?  I sure wouldn't - and don't.  If that's "bad character", then I guess that would be me.

it would be so nice if you had replied me like this when I was getting trouble while installing the software.

You too have some benifits giving the software free. It's not that you are doing social service. I am not telling any bad about SMF. I know the software is cool thats why I never use other Boards. But the support must be better like the software.

You haven't pmed me a copy of all your posts.  If you had, I probably would have temporarily banned you.

Perhaps you don't understand exactly how rude it is.  To me, and many people, doing that is like spitting in my lemonade and making a face at me.  It *does not* make me interested in helping you, it makes me think you're a complete jerk.

Either way, you didn't even answer my question:

You never did!  What part were you stuck on?  You can hardly complain when you're not even reciprocating, even if you hadn't been rude.

As another note, you would have likely gotten more responses much faster, like now, had you not been rude.... or been willing to answer questions.  This is rediculous.

Sorry If I sounded rude. My problem is solved.

It wanted to see new features of SMF so I installed in my personal site before installing in our forum.

Now I want to update our forum where there are thousand of posts. And I am afraid it may erase while upgrading. Because we have many topics and post and many regular member. Here's our forum www.forum.com.np [nofollow]

If you make a backup beforehand (there are many tools to do so, whether in the administration center, phpMyAdmin, or create_backup.php) your worries should dissolve easily.  Regardless, if this forum can survive the upgrades: (which it can...)

Yours shouldn't even flinch.

To prevent loss of data (incase) make a backup of everything first, then all you need to do is download the upgrade package from the downloads page and run the upgrade.php after you upload and it should work fine ;). If something does go wrong you have the backups :)

Thank you so much for your suggesations. Actually I do not do the programming things in the forum. I am a designer in our office. So I am going to do with our programmer infront. And I want the same old skin.

Thank you so much. I will come back again if I stuck again.
