Help with WSIWYG not working

Any help is appreciated..

The WYSIWYG is not working in my forums.

It shows up when you go to post, but none of the buttons work.

When I change the settings to not include the WYSIWYG, the same thing happens with the smileys, you click them and nothing happens.

I am using the 3column Theme, if that makes a difference.

I had installed a few other themes today, checked to see if the WYSIWYG smileys etc would work, thought it might be a problem with the theme.

It does not seem to work at all ( on any theme or on the core theme) 

Any suggestions?

I thought WYSIWYG would be the standard and turning it OFF would be the "option".

As I just said in another thread, I can't turn WYSIWYG on for one of Crip's themes either.
