problem with russians

I have some russians that are spamming my forums but their text is converted to things like  ?? ??  ? ?? ?? ?? ? ? ??!. Anyone know how to make it so it stays in russian? I'm really interested in what they are saying :p

If your using latin database the characters which they are using are not supported by your character set, which is why they are appearing as .

If you want them to appear as normal then you'll need to change the encoding of your database to utf8.
