Features:

• With this MOD you can Enable Quick PM in Display.template (*), similar than Quick Reply.
  
  SMF 1.1.X: Admin > Themes and Layout > Reset Options
  SMF 2: Admin > Configuration > Themes and Layout > Member Options

• Compatible with Ajax Quick Reply

(*) requires enable Quick Reply.
(**) after install you should do a 'hard refresh'.

I think it should not cause problems. I have not tried.

Maximun, is that there are problems in the installation, because the other MOD has change the theme and the installer doesn't know the change.

Sure.

1.- Install the MOD.

2.- Go to: Foro/index.php?topic=XXXXX

3.- And Press Ctrl+F5 (only ie and firefox)

or

2.- Clean internet temporary files

3.- Go to: Foro/index.php?topic=XXXXX

or

2.- Go to:
  SMF 1.1.X: Foro/Themes/default/xml_topic.js
  SMF 2: Foro/Themes/default/scripts/xml_topic.js

3.- Go to: Foro/index.php?topic=XXXXX

i think instead of hard refresh (this is just for future reference) it's easier to go into the admin panel, routine maintenance, and at the bottom, run "clear cache". works everytime for me.

sorry, i keep forgetting that some things are exclusive to RC1... if you don't see it in 1.1.8, it may be because it doesn't exist there.

Translation in french. I use utf-8  For converting in UTF-8 without Bom I m using Babelpad. Text still remain unchanged but is really in Utf-8 without Bom.

Ok.

If you have enabled the Quick Reply and the Quick PM, and you make click the PM icon, the box Quick Reply automatically will be "transformed" to box Quick PM. Also the To input will be filled.

Also, you can restore/change with a click in the box.

Try clean your log errors, unistall and reinstall.

Any chance you could add to this MOD the ability to change the Profile setting for Quick Reply?  That is, if the Quick Reply bar is on, and the user toggles the Quick Reply Box visible or invisible, the change is updated in their profile.

My users like this MOD, once they discover Quick Reply.  I've changed the default theme for Quick Reply to be on, but the box invisible.  Rather than have the members stumble about and eventually ask me how to make the Quick Reply Box stay visible, if clicking on [-]Quick Reply would reset their Profile (and conversely, if they click to close it that it stays closed) would be wonderful.
