ok as the title says i got a database error in my error log, i have run maintenance since then so i no longer have it, i just need to know what it is/was, or if it could be a security risk for my forum.

ok the error is:

Database Error: Duplicate entry '8199' for key 1

the error log said the username of the member, which happens to be an administrator, if that makes any difference.

also the error happened 4 days ago, i have not seen any problems related to it, as far as i know, just checking up on it.

Thanks

As long as you have deleted it, it is OK. It is a security risk leaving it there. That's all.

ok, just to be sure its gone, how would i go by deleting it?

Run a scheduled pruning or running an 'Empty Out Error Log' Query/Maintenance.

So, i dont need to go to phpmyadmin/mysql settings?

This is a problem in one of your tables where you have two rows with the same id (which is a key).

Some of these can be resolved in smf by running Fix errors in smf and then recalculate stats, then fix errors again.

ok, well i did all that as soon as i noticed the error, i guess its gone then, thanks..

SOLVED!
