I turned maintenance mode on temporarily.  When I changed it back to 1 I get this error message:

SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Please help this is urgent!  Thanks.

Is this the only thing you changes at the Settings.php file? If yes, then it is a hosting issue.

Yes I only changed the 0 to 1, then back.

I restored the backup settings file and it works.  That's wierd!!!
