Installation Error (Access denied for user 'aaron@localhost...)

There was a fix posted here:http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=81658.0,but it doesn't seem to be relevant anymore.  What should I do?

have you created the database already?

Some hosts will only allow the db to be created inside cpanel or their own hosting panel.

Is the location correct. Some hosts aka godaddy don't store the database on localhost, but at a url.

scififan2715, is this issue resolved now?

I would definitely check to make sure the database is created and that the user has full privileges to the SMF database.
