Serious problem on the look

thread's look is totally nonsense. even the default theme doesn't work!

It appears that all or part of the default theme is missing.

Especially javascript/css/images

Grab fresh copies out of the upgrade package and upload.

yes but it's there. actually I even did a fresh install. it was fine but when I reinstalled my DB backup, it again crashed.

check the files are chmod readable. because the images aren't there.

I checked why images there and found an interesting issue. the images are there actually but SMF can't see them.

I was on a.com in the past and has moved to b.com afterwards. till last day, both a.com and b.com was pointing the same directory. but yesterday I canceled my old domain a.com. Now I see that SMF's default them is looking for images under a.com. I made a.com working again and issue is solved now.

though I don't know why SMF is still looking to old domain.

Some of the urls are probably wrong.

Download repair_settings.php from the smf website under Downloads > Tools.

upload to your directory where smf is
then point to it in your browser

use it to correct urls that point to the old location.
