Upgrade 1.1.4 => 2.0 RC1: Unknown column 'a.attachment_type' in 'field list'

I have a problem during the upgrade from 1.1.4 to 2.0 RC1

Unknown column 'a.attachment_type' in 'field list'

- I used the upgrade pack
- I have deleted/replaced all the files (except settings)
- There are no additional languages in the template sets (see above)
- There are no mods
- PHP/SQL is higher than reccomended

Any hints?

I think,this is already a known bug in 2.0 RC1

Bug #2963: 'update', 'overwrite', and 'update_remove'  option for 'if_exists' on db_create_table function fails

The problem is being worked.

Of course you do as the error is in the upgrade script for 2.0RC1!

caipirinha, is this still an issue? I'll bet the version detection is wrong and the upgrade script detects an SMF 2.x (not 1.1).

maybe you have a copy/test-system from your forum and can try the following:
rename "upgrade_2-0_mysql.sql" to "old.sql", then rename "upgrade_1-1.sql" to "upgrade_2-0_mysql.sql".

then start the upgrade.

Don't forget to make a Backup from your forum (files and database) before.

I wished SMF team would publish all the changes for the option of a manual upgrade.

Upgrading to 2.0RC1 from 1.1.4 is a file overwrite operation.  There are no manual instructions.  Way too many changes to even consider it.
