From what I saw in the conversion boards there is no 3.8 converter yet. Request one and maybe one of out talented converter specialist will create one. Or look if other boards have such a converter, so you can do a roundabout converting, i.e. vb-xboard-Smf

The 3.7 converter should work fine.
It may not convert any new features in 3.8 although.

If there is any errors, you can let us know :) We can try to see if we can't fix it and start working on 3.8.

Good Morning,
I'm interested in this as well.

But the current converters do not pull in member groups, and they lose all your personal messages, right?

Thanks,
Matthew

Personal messages are converted. MemberGroups are currently not converted.

SleePy,
That's interesting.  Does it also convert passwords?

If the only thing it doesn't convert are membergroups, that would be excellent!

Thanks,
Matt

TE,
That's excellent.  I'll have to give it a try.

I'm trying to integrate SMF into a Joomla site, and this is one of the steps I need to take.

Thanks,
Matt
